Since 2011, the agency Jouin Manku had imagined for the House of Van Cleef & Arpels of Hong Kong a luminous exterior facade, now iconic. Composed of glass tubes whose shape echoes a bamboo forest, it attracts the eye while mingling with the gleams of the city. This architectural element overlooks a white stone canopy specially carved as part of the renovation. On both sides, passers-by can see the two floors of the shop and in particular the large flat chandelier of the VIC living room while roundness illuminating the second level. At night, the façade comes alive with a changing play of lights, creating an enchanting sparkle.
