For twenty-eight years, the association La Source Garouste has held its annual charity auction every December, offering collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to acquire a unique piece for a solidarity-driven cause. This year, studio Jouin Manku had the chance to participate in this prestigious initiative alongside 55 renowned creators. The challenge for this edition was to reinterpret an iconic object of design: the mythical metal stool by Jean Prouvé, made available by the publishing house Vitra.

For the charity auction of the association La Source Garouste, studio Jouin Manku has revisited the mythical metal stool created by Jean Prouvé and produced by Vitra. The final piece, named ORBIT, transforms this industrial classic into an organic sculpture with fluid layers. Among the key proposals of this edition, studio Jouin Manku presented ORBIT, its final creation. Designed using 3D printing technology through polyamide powder sintering, this hybrid art object disrupts the rigid geometry of the original piece of furniture.
